“Farming isn’t something that can be taught. Each plant tells its own story that has to be read repeatedly.” Humans once subsisted by hunting and gathering, foraging for available food wherever it could be found. Now, people began planting collected seeds, harvesting them and selecting successful crops. We at CPSGS taught where their food comes from and the effort that goes into producing agricultural products.

As a part of this all our children became farmers today, growing different crops and fruits managing their fields. Our tiny tots dressed up like farmers and spoke about what they would like to do and grow in their farm land and also what they will do with all that they have grown. They were also aware that harmful chemicals should not be used to grow crops. Children thanked and saluted the farmers for their work.

The world is adapting at a radical pace and the children of today are growing up into a world where updates are daily, technology is seemingly limitless and there are millions of directions one could take. Children perceived the importance of agriculture in today’s world and in the future because they will be the ones taking over.
