Our Grade 1 learners turned counting into an exciting adventure through a fun floor-jumping activity. As they hopped forwards and backwards in ones, twos, and tens, they explored number patterns in a hands-on and engaging way. They discovered that they can confidently count in 2s and 10s from any starting number while continuing the correct sequence. By talking about their ideas and working together, learners strengthened their mathematical thinking, reasoning, and confidence.
It was wonderful to see our young mathematicians learning with such enthusiasm, proving that movement, play, and exploration make mathematics both meaningful and enjoyable!
