Our young minds of CAIE 1 explored their predictions with numbers ! Counting numbers is the basic step to do operations .Learners were facilitated with wooden blocks to explore and share their predictions. Children keenly observed the blocks placed on a table to provide their estimated count based on their understanding. Later , they were guided to count in 10’s and to our surprise they were even able to compare and reason out their estimated answers . The classroom was filled with discussions and at the end of the activity, children were able to recite skip counting of numbers in 10’s at ease
