What We Knew:
Bridges need to be strong enough to support loads and help people and vehicles cross safely.
What We Wanted to Know:
Which shape makes a bridge the strongest?
What We Learnt:
After building and testing different paper bridge designs, we discovered that triangles are the strongest shape because they spread the weight evenly and do not change shape easily.
Making the Connection:
Many real-life bridges, cranes, towers, and even roof structures use triangles to make them stronger, safer, and more stable.
