Learning came alive as our young learners stepped outdoors to create a beautiful Poo Kolam together! What began with collecting flowers soon became a joyful, hands-on learning experience.
The learners carefully collected, sorted, and separated the flowers by colour, observing the different shades, shapes, and textures. Working together, they then carried the flowers to the kolam and carefully filled each section, watching their design slowly come to life.
With little hands busy and happy faces all around, the experience encouraged observation, classification, fine-motor skills, creativity, collaboration and appreciation of our cultural traditions.
More than creating a beautiful Poo Kolam, our learners experienced the joy of learning by doing—turning flowers into patterns, teamwork into memories, and a simple activity into a meaningful learning experience.
