CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai, hosted an engaging University Fair on 29th August 2026, bringing leading universities closer to our students and creating opportunities to explore diverse pathways in higher education.
The fair featured representatives from Mahindra University, Woxsen University, Shiv Nadar University (Delhi-NCR and Chennai); Pace University, New York; Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Odisha; University of Leeds; ATLAS SkillTech University; Sai University; and MIT World Peace University.
The event provided students with an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about academic programmes, admission requirements, scholarships, internships, research opportunities, international exposure, campus life and career pathways.
Our Cambridge IGCSE and IBDP students actively interacted with university representatives, asking thoughtful questions and gaining first-hand insights into the opportunities available across different institutions and disciplines. The conversations encouraged them to look beyond rankings and reputation and think about finding a university that aligns with their interests, strengths, aspirations and long-term goals.
For many students, the fair was also an opportunity to discover new courses and career possibilities that they had not previously considered. The direct interactions helped them better understand what life after school could look like and what they can do today to prepare for their future.
As part of the school’s College Counselling and Career Guidance programme, the University Fair supports students in making informed and purposeful decisions about higher education.
