Flipping and reading – ELP 2B @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

There was some serious flipping and reading at ELP 2 B. children played a game where they turned sunny side up eggs with sight words written on them for breakfast!
Every one of these little chefs took turns in making these eggs for breakfast! In kindergarten, we teach how to read/recognize words simply by seeing them. Just as you see a face and recognize it with someone’s name attached.
It’s automatic. It’s an instantaneous response. Sight words are usually words that students will run into, over and over and could potentially see them in print dozens of times in a day.
So how would you like your eggs, Rare?
In this class it was definitely well done!
