Digestion – Active Learning @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

Active learning is the highest form of research “

Learning engagement has always proven to be the best for understanding and retention. With an aim of fostering our students’ inquisitive skills, we provide experiments that require hypothesis, exploration, observation, and analysis.

One of the activities that we had last week was in Science where our students were learning the importance of digestion. The students of CAIE 5B used simple things available at home to understand the process of digestion in detail. They have performed a fair test to compare and comprehend how the food that is broken down from complex to simpler substances helps in the easy absorption of nutrients.

The activity as it is evident to be real-life based and also needed collaborative and presentation skills were not only engaging for students but also made their learning effective and enjoyable.
