Turning to the positive power of crowdfunding CPS Global school partnered with Fueladream organisation, to provide interested students a platform to make a difference, to make an impact in the livelihoods of the marginalised. On 14th August 2020, a team of 17 students volunteered to campaign for the prosthetics limb support fund raising.
With the motto ” Let’s get them back on feet “, our students got on track to do their part to help the community. The pandemic situation and the lockdown scenarios, did not hinder their determination to find the joy of giving. Throughout the 20 days campaign, our students canvassed and moved 199 people to fund this initiative. They raised a total amount of Rs 6,20000 /- (Six lakhs and twenty thousand), which will provide prosthetic limbs for 57 villagers with the support from Freedom trust NGO.
Shereen Joy of AS level is the star campaigner who raised the maximum fund of Rs 2,32,000 /- (Two lakh and thirty two thousand). Our young minds displayed the content of giving and they are definitely enthralled about the 57 villagers, who will get back on feet. Overall, our students marked the quote ” We rise by lifting others” and realised the smallest deed is better than the greatest intention.
