The students of CPS group of institutions were presented with a wonderful opportunity to interact with some of the pioneers in the field of education in the ‘Career Connect’ program on 1st November 2019.
Professor Tom Goldstein, a titan in the field of Journalism and now Dean of the Journalism department at OP Jindal University (JGU) in the outskirts of Delhi, illustrated the importance of journalism, news and media for everyone in today’s free world through his interactive and humorous-yet-informative talk – from Twitter presidents to students, who could greatly benefit from just reading quality newspapers- and encouraged students to consider the dynamic, and impactful field of Journalism.
Professor Dr. C Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor and co-founder of JGU, inspired each and everyone present by reminding all of the responsibility towards the betterment of the world, through quality education and helped understand how O P Jindal University helps students achieve this, with their extensive research and study-abroad opportunities, and courses taught by world-renowned faculty. He was even delighted to answer each and every question regarding the courses, admission criteria, scholarships, and university experience.
The session proved to be an immensely eye-opening and informative experience led by charismatic men, who introduced and exposed the students to the gamut of higher education opportunities that are present in our own country, with OP Jindal University paving the way for world-class education.
