CPS Global School organized an orientation programme for the parents of Grade 5 and 8 on 22nd and 23rd of November 2019. The aim was to familiarize the parents as ‘partners in progress’ with the curriculum and the checkpoint examination.
The session started with a welcome note with a stress on the holistic development of the child which is the main aim and objective of the school. Furthermore, parents were briefed about the guidelines of the Checkpoint examination and were made aware about the Formative and Summative techniques of evaluation.
The teachers gave an overview of various subjects like English, Mathematics, Science and a detailed information about the learning parameters and stressed upon the innovative teaching and learning methodologies followed in school. Overall it was an interactive session and the parents had a clear picture about the nuances of the checkpoint Examination after attending the orientation programme.
