Antiques Day at CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog
“Priceless things matter not for their value, but because they offer
us an enduring reminder of stability and permanence.”
Antique Day celebrated at our school premises tickled the curiosity in the minds of our students as they explored various rarities . Coins from Ancient times to household products, jewels, statues and many more. The students not only had a visual treat but came to know about the antique collectors and stories behind it. All forms of history can be preserved but antiques provide a unique perspective of how people cherish and maintain their valuable things at home.  Antiques specifically refer to the pre classical and
classical cultures of the ancient world. One of the most striking antiques included the age old  Hebrew Bible, a founding document which describes the origin, theological, social and political views which are still referred to in today’s time. We were also thrilled to be completely transformed to one of the most significant events in History – The fall of the Wall as one of our students had brought a piece of the Berlin Wall.Today is also a day to thank those who aim at repairing antiques and bringing them back to life.
Thanks to all the parents who have shared your antique and its story with us !
