On July 29th our language class started of with a interactive session debating on “does Indian education system needs a change”. Team one debated for the notion and team two against the notion. Team one stated that the education system in India suffers from some serious lacunae. It lacks encouragement for thinking out of the box and non-existent practice of extra reading. Education is restricted to prescribed textbook and help/guide books. Team two debated that Indian civilization is one of the oldest ones on the block and has always significantly contributed to the arena of knowledge. We thank to its varied cultural, geographical and traditional background. With Astronomy, Mathematics, Physics and Economics, India has always nurtured talents in its cradle and loads of foreign travelers also have streamed into the country for acquiring knowledge and education since centuries.
