Students of IGCSE Year 1 to AS level visited the Indian Express printing press in Ambattur on 26th July. They explored the whole printing process, the production unit, and the equipment used. They were exposed to different forms of newspaper printing techniques and were given a tour around the production unit. They had a chance to see the printing procedures as well as the materials and machines used. The trip broadened their knowledge on the newspaper they receive at their doorstep every day right from collating information to presenting it in a readable format. There were various questions posed to the staff by our students, which enhanced and expanded their perception of the print media.
