Learning about plants became an exciting hands-on experience as children explored the different parts of a plant. They learned how a plant begins with a seed and grows into roots, shoots, stems, leaves, and flowers.
For the activity, children carefully arranged the plant parts in the correct order, placing the roots at the bottom, followed by the stem and leaves, with the flower at the top.
This activity strengthened sequencing, observation, vocabulary, and fine motor skills while helping children understand how plants grow.
