Curiosity was sparked through a hands-on Guess and Check estimation activity. A variety of materials were explored, encouraging careful observation and thoughtful predictions. Children recorded their estimates on sticky notes before checking the actual quantities, helping them compare their guesses with the results. The learning was further extended through a follow-up book activity, strengthening the concept of estimation while developing observation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical confidence in an engaging way.
