BFF Bonanza – Friendship Day Celebration at CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai was a vibrant and joyful experience that brought together our Early Years learners to celebrate the beautiful values of kindness, friendship, teamwork and belonging. Through engaging, hands-on activities, our young learners explored what it means to care for one another, work collaboratively and build meaningful connections. The celebration provided a wonderful opportunity for children to express their creativity, develop social skills and experience the joy of learning together in a warm and inclusive environment. Each class participated in a unique friendship-themed activity:
EY 1 – Collage of Friendship Chain
EY 1 learners created a colourful paper collage of children holding hands, symbolising unity, connection and togetherness. Each child contributed to the chain, highlighting how every individual is an important part of a strong and supportive community.
EY 2A – Tree of Togetherness
EY 2A learners created the Tree of Togetherness using twisted green paper strips to form a vibrant friendship tree. The activity beautifully represented the idea that every child plays an important role in nurturing a caring and connected community.
EY 2B – Together We Bloom
EY 2B learners created a beautiful handprint flower, bringing together each child’s colourful handprint to form a single bloom. The activity celebrated individuality while highlighting the beauty of growing and flourishing together.
EY 3 – Our Friendship Flower
EY 3 learners designed Our Friendship Flower, decorating its petals with colourful crayon patterns. Through this creative activity, children expressed themselves while appreciating the unique qualities that each friend brings to the group.
More than just a Friendship Day celebration, BFF Bonanza was a meaningful learning experience that encouraged our young learners to practise empathy, respect, cooperation and inclusion. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, creativity and memorable moments, strengthening the bonds within the Early Years community at CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai. Together, we celebrated the true spirit of friendship and belonging, creating cherished memories and inspiring our young learners to spread kindness, compassion and positivity wherever they go – both inside and beyond the classroom.
