Our Grade 2 learners stepped into the role of young plant doctors as they explored the functions of different plant parts through an engaging diagnosis activity. Using symptom cards, they identified which plant part was affected, explained their reasoning, and recorded their observations by applying their understanding of plant structures and functions.
This hands-on activity strengthened their critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills while helping them appreciate how each plant part plays a vital role in a plant’s growth, survival, and reproduction. It was wonderful to see our young scientists investigate each challenge with curiosity, confidence, and enthusiasm.
