CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai, hosted representatives from leading universities across the United States on 15 July 2026, offering our students valuable insights into global higher education opportunities and university pathways.
Representatives from the University of California, Riverside; University of California, Santa Cruz; University of San Francisco, California; Foothill + De Anza Colleges, California; University at Buffalo, New York; and Binghamton University, New York conducted engaging sessions for our Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme students.
The sessions provided students with an in-depth understanding of the universities, their academic programmes, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, transfer pathways, and the diverse opportunities available to international students. The representatives also shared valuable information about the application process and the academic expectations of prospective applicants.
Our Cambridge IGCSE and IBDP students actively participated in the sessions and engaged in meaningful discussions with the university representatives. Students explored their dream universities, asked questions about specific courses and admission requirements, and gained greater clarity about academic pathways aligned with their future aspirations.
The event was facilitated by the Career Guidance and College Counselling Cell at CPS Global School, which continues to provide students with meaningful university exposure and informed guidance for their higher education journey. These university interactions served as an excellent platform for students to connect directly with global higher education institutions and make informed decisions about their future.
