Student Prefectorial Council Election Day 2026–2027: A Celebration of Democracy and Leadership at CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai

Written by cpsglobalblog

CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai successfully conducted the Student Prefectorial Council Election for the Academic Year 2026–2027, providing students with a valuable opportunity to experience the democratic process and exercise their right to vote responsibly.

The polling process was organised with great care and transparency under the supervision of the Election Committee. Separate polling booths were arranged for different grade groups to ensure a smooth and systematic voting experience. Students from CIE 1 to DP Year 2 enthusiastically participated in the election, casting their votes through a secret ballot system.

Dedicated polling officials efficiently managed various responsibilities, including ballot paper distribution, ballot validation, indelible ink application, queue management, polling booth supervision, and maintaining discipline throughout the voting process. Their coordinated efforts ensured that the election was conducted fairly, securely, and without disruption.  Students patiently waited in queues, followed the election guidelines, and exercised their voting rights with enthusiasm and responsibility. The atmosphere across the campus reflected the values of fairness, integrity, respect, and active student participation.

Once polling concluded, the ballot boxes were securely collected, and the counting process was carried out by the Election Committee in the presence of designated officials. Every vote was carefully verified to ensure complete transparency and accuracy before the official declaration of results. The successful conduct of the Student Prefectorial Council Election was a true reflection of CPS Global School’s commitment to nurturing responsible citizens and future leaders. The event not only strengthened students’ understanding of democratic values but also encouraged them to appreciate the importance of leadership, responsibility, and informed decision-making.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Head of School, teachers, polling officials, student volunteers, candidates, and every student voter for their cooperation and enthusiastic participation in making the election a memorable and successful event.

“Every vote counts, every voice matters, and every leader begins with the courage to serve.”
