From “I Wonder” to “I Discovered!”-The Colours That Travel @ CPSGS Anna Nagar

Written by cpsglobalblog

What We Knew:

Flowers need water to grow.

What We Wanted to Know:
What would happen if we placed a coloured paper towel flower in water?

What We Learnt:
As the flower absorbed the water, the colours spread across the petals. We discovered that this happens because of capillary action, where water travels through tiny spaces.

Making the Connection:
Just like our paper towel flower, real plants absorb water through their roots and carry it to their leaves and flowers, helping them grow and bloom.
