Our IGCSE Yr 2 ICT students began their Website Authoring journey with an engaging “Become a Business Owner” activity.
Students selected a business, including bakeries, cafés, gaming stores, gyms, and travel agencies, and brainstormed the essential features their websites would need to attract customers.
Working collaboratively, they shared ideas, discussed website content, and recorded their thoughts. The activity encouraged creativity, communication, and critical thinking while helping students understand the real-world purpose of websites. It served as an effective introduction to Website Authoring, laying a strong foundation before exploring the three web development layers and how they work together to create functional and engaging websites.
