Students of CPS Global School attended an insightful session by Dr. C. N. Manoj, Founder of Pelican Kenterra Pvt. Ltd., on “The True Lies of Waste Management.” He highlighted the alarming impact of poor waste management, explained the distinction between reusability and recyclability using plastic as an example, and urged students to adopt responsible habits. As part of the programme, students explored issues including food, plastic, paper, Styrofoam, medical, stationery, and PET bottle waste, proposing practical solutions such as reducing food waste, promoting refillable ink pens, tackling eraser dust, advancing Styrofoam recycling, and using institution-branded stainless steel water bottles. The session inspired thoughtful action towards sustainable living.
