Our Grade 1 learners became young scientists and animal detectives as they explored the school, searching for clues such as spider webs, scratch marks, feathers, and chewed leaves. Back in the classroom, they completed an observation sheet by identifying the animals and discussing their features, habitats, and behaviours. This hands-on investigation sparked curiosity, encouraged careful observation, and helped learners discover that every clue tells a story.
