Competing against over 100,000 participants from 183 countries, our students made the shortlist, representing the top entries recognised for their depth of thought, originality, analytical skills, and intellectual curiosity.
This global recognition is a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and passion for exploring meaningful ideas through research, reflection, and insightful writing.
As a mark of this prestigious accomplishment, our shortlisted students have been invited to attend the Awards Ceremony at Grosvenor House Hotel, Mayfair, London, on 3 October 2026, where they will be honoured for their achievement and presented with certificates of recognition.
The ceremony will also reveal the category winners and the overall Grand Prize winner of the John Locke Institute 2026 Global Essay Prize.
