Every petal reveals a lesson, and every flower unfolds a story of nature.”
The learners of CIE 4A were introduced to the intricate structure and functions of the various parts of a flower through a comprehensive and engaging theoretical session. To reinforce their conceptual understanding, this knowledge was seamlessly translated into a practical learning experience through a hands-on flower dissection activity.
The learners meticulously dissected a diverse collection of flowers, including jasmine, rose, and several other species, carefully observing and identifying their unique floral structures. They skillfully mounted the dissected parts on chart paper and accurately labelled each component, demonstrating precision, scientific inquiry, and a keen appreciation for the remarkable complexity of nature.
This experiential activity not only deepened their understanding of floral anatomy but also fostered observational skills, scientific temperament, and an enduring curiosity for the natural world.
