“My birthday blooms brighter when nature grows with me.”
Birthdays are special occasions filled with happiness, friendship, and sharing. This year, Grade CIE 3C student JP Rushika celebrated her birthday in a unique and meaningful way. As part of the school’s initiative to promote sustainability and thoughtful giving, she chose not to distribute chocolates or plastic return gifts. Instead, she gifted each of her classmates seeds and saplings, encouraging them to plant and nurture them at home.
Her simple yet thoughtful gesture brought great excitement among her friends and also spread an important message about caring for our environment. By giving gifts that can grow into plants and trees, Rushika reminded everyone that small actions can create a lasting positive impact on our planet.
