CPS Global School was delighted to welcome Ms. Poojita Goswami, Programme Officer – South, International Award for Young People (IAYP), for a special engagement that celebrated student achievement and inspired future participation in the Award Programme.
The programme commenced with the felicitation of students who had successfully completed their IAYP journey. 9 Bronze and 6 Silver Award recipients were recognised for their perseverance, commitment, and personal growth, exemplifying the values of service, skill development, physical recreation, and adventurous exploration that underpin the Award.
Following the ceremony, Ms. Goswami conducted an engaging orientation session for the incoming IGYR 1 cohort. She introduced students to the IAYP framework, guided them through the registration process, and highlighted the transformative opportunities the Award offers in fostering leadership, resilience, and holistic development.
During her visit, Ms. Goswami also interacted with IAYP student volunteers who were actively supporting an eye-screening camp for the school’s support staff, organised under the banner of ÉLAN, the school’s wellness initiative. The camp reflected the spirit of service and community engagement that lies at the heart of the IAYP framework, providing students with a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the school community.
The event seamlessly brought together achievement, service, and inspiration, reaffirming CPS Global School’s commitment to nurturing compassionate, responsible, and future-ready young leaders.
