The new academic year at CPS Global school, Thirumazhisai commenced with a series of
Parent Orientation and Familiarization sessions across the Cambridge Early years,
Cambridge Primary, IGCSE and IB Diploma Programs. The sessions, conducted on 13 th June,
were designed to familiarize families with the Cambridge academic programmes,
assessment frameworks and key milestones for the year ahead. Aiming to ensure a smooth
transition into the academic year, the presentations led by the team leads provided a space
for parents to get acquainted with the routines of the school.
The sessions highlighted the school’s commitment to engaging learners through inquiry-
based learning and student-centered educational practices. Collaborative strategies that
could empower both the school and parents alike were discussed, with the learners’ growth
at the spotlight. Across multiple sessions, Parents gained valuable insights into academic
milestones and strategies to support their children’s learning journey.
Parents were acquainted with the EduCloud platform to optimize their access to regular
updates from the school and track their child’s academic progress. In addition to the
opportunities for extra-curricular engagement, parents learned about the scope of the
curriculum pathways offered by the CPS Global school, Thirumazhisai.
The sessions concluded with interactive Q&A discussions that enabled parents to seek
clarifications, share their perspectives and seek further information. The Parent Orientation
program reaffirmed the school’s commitment to academic excellence, holistic development
