Three of our IBDP Year 2 students just wrapped up a 5-day Commerce School Summer Immersion Programme at Shiv Nadar University Chennai (27th April – 2nd May ) — and came back with a lot more than notes. Sessions on business management, economics, finance, marketing, HR, and leadership — led by Dr. Cherry, Dr. Vijaya Banu, Mr. Kasthuri Rangan, Mr. Ramesh, and Ms. Devi — gave our students a real look at what commerce study looks like beyond school.
The takeaway that stayed with us: one student said the programme completely changed her perception of Indian universities. That’s exactly the kind of shift we hope for. Our Career Counsellor, Mr Sathyamoorthy Balasubramanian, attended the valedictory and got to see our students in action — curious, engaged, and asking the right questions.
