As students who have entered Senior Secondary, the AS-1 and IBDP-1 cohort attended the IAYP Orientation led by Mr Bivujit Mukhoty and Ms Poojita Goswami—a comprehensive and insightful introduction to the framework, expectations, and value of the programme.
Mr. Bivujit outlined the structure, timelines, and requirements with clarity, emphasising the programme’s global presence across 130+ countries and its focus on helping young individuals discover purpose through self-driven engagement. He highlighted the importance of initiative, discipline, and thoughtfully structured personal goals.
The session further detailed the three award levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—and their four core components: Skill, Physical Recreation, Voluntary Service, and the Adventurous Journey, each anchored in SMART goal-setting and sustained commitment.
Beyond its structure, the programme was presented as a platform for cultivating leadership, resilience, and interpersonal competence—qualities essential for future pursuits. The session concluded with a note of gratitude from CPGS students to IAYP and the presenters.
