As part of our English class based on CIE 2A and 2B objectives, Grade 2 students took part in a fun “Play Script on Stage” activity. Each child picked their favourite character from the play, made a mask of the character, and came on stage to say their favourite dialogue. The students spoke clearly and used good expressions, actions, and voice modulation to show the character’s feelings. This activity helped them understand the story better and improved their reading and speaking skills. It also helped them gain confidence while speaking in front of others.
Through this activity, children improved their fluency, listening skills, and stage manners. They learned how to express emotions and speak with the proper tone and clarity. Overall, the activity made English learning enjoyable, creative, and meaningful for the students.
