Our tiny caterpillars decided it was time to work out! Yes, you read that right! With droppers in hand, our little scientists became personal trainers for their squishy caterpillar friends. Each child carefully gave their caterpillar a “sip of water,” and suddenly… the caterpillar started to grow! The children watched in surprise as their caterpillars puffed up, like they had just finished an energy drink. Giggles filled the classroom as the children whispered things like, “Grow, caterpillar, grow!” and “Mine is getting chubby!” This playful experiment not only made everyone laugh but also helped our little ones build fine motor skills, practice patience, and observe tiny changes like true mini-scientists. We had a whole team of strong, chunky caterpillars, ready for their next adventure!
