Shakespeare Comes Alive, held on 27 November 2025 at CPS Global School, was a vibrant celebration of the Bard’s timeless legacy. The programme featured two engaging segments that highlighted the talent and expressive skills of our young performers.
The Act It Out segment showcased four team performances inspired by Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Julius Caesar, and The Merchant of Venice. Each team impressed the audience with confident delivery, expressive movement, and a clear grasp of Shakespearean themes.
In the solo performance segment, students brought iconic characters such as Hamlet, Juliet, Romeo, and Julius Caesar to life through powerful monologues marked by clarity, emotion, and strong stage presence.
The Shakespeare-themed décor added to the immersive experience, transporting the audience into the world of Elizabethan theatre.
Overall, the event was a success, celebrating learners’ artistic abilities while fostering a deeper appreciation for classic literature and performance.
