Our Grade 2 learners had a fun day exploring the Classroom Store! The shop was filled with labelled items like pencils, erasers, toy cars, hairbands, and stickers. Each child received some fake money and excitedly “shopped” for what they liked.
They had to calculate carefully, check if they had enough, and sometimes even rethink their choices to stay within their budget.
This playful activity helped them understand how money works and why it is important in our daily life. It was a joyful way to learn real-life skills through pretend play!
