Today, we had the privilege of attending a captivating Gleanings session titled “AI for Kids: Magic, Machines, and Mind-Blowing Ideas”, led by Ms. Priyanka Harish, the dynamic CEO of Coderz Vision Technology. A trailblazing entrepreneur, Ms. Priyanka has carved a remarkable niche for herself in the domain of Information Technology.
During the session, she presented a powerful and thought-provoking definition of Artificial Intelligence and elaborated on its diverse applications tailored for young learners. She categorized various AI tools that children encounter and can creatively engage with — including voice assistants like Siri and Alexa, personalized YouTube recommendations, facial recognition filters, and chatbots.
Ms. Priyanka further introduced an array of AI-powered creative platforms such as Autodraw, ABCYA Paint, Kleki, Quick, Draw!, and Sketchpad for artistic expression; Canva for Kids, Logomaker, Looka, Vectr, and Designevo for logo designing; and storytelling and literacy tools like Pixton, Adobe Express, StoryWeaver, and Unite for Literacy.
Adding to the excitement, she made a delightful promise to the students — that they would soon have access to their very own domain. As a thoughtful gesture, she also distributed a brochure to Upper Primary learners, offering a glimpse into the enriching topics explored during the session.
