Forgiveness: The Best Gift You Can Give Yourself @ CPS Global School, Anna Nagar

Written by cpsglobalblog

This Monday, our school turned ordinary moments into beautiful lessons on letting go and starting fresh. Forgiveness isn’t just a word — it’s a powerful choice to free our hearts from grudges and grow stronger together. CPSGS celebrated Forgiveness Day with simple, meaningful activities that brought smiles, second chances, and a lot of warmth to our classrooms.

Students took time to write anonymous kind notes to classmates — especially to someone they wanted to reconnect with.  To make our promise to forgive last longer, each student wrote what forgiveness meant to them. These colourful pledges now decorate our classroom walls, reminding us daily to choose kindness and understanding.

The classes echoed with the vows that students made to stay kinder to themselves and others and be kinder.

Students performed short skits showing everyday misunderstandings — and how they could be solved through forgiveness. From friends fighting over a game to classmates resolving hurtful words, everyone got to practice empathy and learn that saying “I’m sorry” and “I forgive you” makes our friendships stronger.

Forgiveness Day showed us that letting go makes room for new connections, bigger smiles, and peaceful hearts. Forgiveness Day taught us all that letting go doesn’t make us weak — it makes us lighter, kinder, and closer than ever. Here’s to always choosing kindness!
