Student Leadership

CPS GS provides exceptional leadership opportunities for each student in every aspect of school life. Students find many opportunities to grow as leaders in scholastics and co-scholastics such as sports, the arts, community services and others. Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other, thus they are trained to assume responsibility with grace and integrity. To emerge as leaders in various areas, students are groomed well to prepare for their responsibilities, to understand the limits of their efforts and influence and to model desired behaviour.

Students in Positions of Formal Leadership are:
  • 1. Student Council
    • Head Boy/Girl.
    • Head Volunteers.
    • Sports Secretary.
    • Cultural Secretary.
    • Club Secretary.
    • House Captains.
    • Team Captains.
  • 2. MUN Committee
  • 3. Disciplinary Committee
  • 4. Editorial Committee
  • 5. Field Trip Committee

Leadership training in school enables them to unfurl their boundaries and mechanize beyond their imagination to take part in global leadership programs with all ease. Students of CPS GS are given the privilege to gain learning and leadership experiences to promote global citizenship by participating in MUN, global conferences, symposiums in and outside the country. It’s an annual feature of CPS schools to send student delegation to the most prestigious Harvard Model Congress Asia, THIMUN, SISMUN and others. We cherished the winning moment when one of our students, Ms Shanmietha S bagged the "Outstanding Student Award" in HMCA, Hong Kong.
