“Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it’s a chance that goes on,
Deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”
– Miriam Beard
There are plenty of things one can benefit from exploring different places. The list includes making new friends and gaining new experiences. When you start exploring new places, you get a better understanding of the people living there, including their culture, history and background. Studies show that travelling can improve your overall health and enhance creativity.
As a part of this learning, our tiny tots of ELP were all set to go on a virtual tour to China, USA and Egypt in their respective classes. It was a fun filled experience for those who are yet to visit these places.
Show and Tell activity has always been an integral and key part of child development in our early learning program. It is a chance for the children to explain a topic with props and create opportunities for children to grow and develop in many areas like language, communication skills, and social skills and make them feel more confident and valued.
The topic chosen today proved to be a perfect fit to the style exhibited by our future global leaders, who were happy to deliver the fact file of Countries. Our young travelers of ELP enjoyed learning and sharing their views on various countries.
ELP 1: Children spoke about the flora and fauna, the culture and the national symbol of China. They had got various items and props the country is famous for such as noodles, Chinese fan and the giant panda.
ELP 2: They had fun displaying and discussing about the country USA. The children had prepared themselves with wonderful props and speech related to the topic.
ELP 3: They had a seamlessly good time sharing their views on the National symbols, cultural heritage, the topography and the flora and fauna of Egypt. Some children had some artifacts to show the class from their trip to Egypt.
