“Say Aahhhh!!!!” Dental Check up@ ELP CPSGS TMZ

Written by cpsglobalblog

“A healthy smile begins with a child”.

Good dental health is important in giving children a healthy start in life. February is America’s National Children’s Dental Health Month and we at CPS Global Thirumazhisai wanted to educate our children the importance of having a good dental hygiene and a dazzling healthy smile for life. A Dental check up for ELP kids was organized in the school premises on Friday, 7th February 2020.

Dr. Beryl Fredrick our esteemed guest for the day humbly accepted our request to present an awareness session about the oral health and hygiene. She is a Cosmetic/Aesthetic Dentist and Dental Surgeon. She also examined our kids’ oral health. Her session was highly informative and interestingly interactive. She explained the importance of baby teeth and oral hygiene. Excerpts from her session: “Baby teeth are not just important for a pretty smile, they are essential for speech, chewing food properly, and laying the foundation for permanent adult teeth. Keeping your child’s teeth and gums healthy is equally as important as the rest of their overall health. Tooth decay is the number one preventable childhood disease. Prevention begins with good dental habits, the right diet and regular visits to the dentist at a very early age. So leading by example — especially when it comes to establishing healthy habits like brushing, cleaning between your teeth and seeing your dentist — can make a big difference in the health and happiness of your entire family”.

The dental check up followed the session and each kid was examined individually. The kids eagerly took the check up with the friendly dentist with enthusiasm much to the amazement of their parents who were used to their tantrums during their dental visits. After the examination, the dentist suggested treatments required for the kids to their parents.

The real purpose of the day was attained and the parents realized that it’s never too early to start taking care of their child’s teeth.

Our smiles at CPS Global TMZ have become much brighter ever since!

Let us share our smile:)
