“Sometimes you never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.” The Annual Day and Graduation Ceremony at CPSGS were indeed treasured reminiscences.
Annual Day, an important moment of our school activities, an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their magnificent performances but are also honoured for their curricular and co-curricular achievements. The occasion was graced by Mr. Eric Lund, Cultural Affairs Officer, US Consulate General, Mr. Emmanuel Samson, Attaché for Cooperation, French Language, and dignitaries of the CPS Schools Group. HOS, extending a warm welcome to all, presented the Annual Report enumerating the achievements of the school – both academic and co-curricular and wished success to graduating students.
The Graduation Ceremony, an indication of achievement, hopes for the future and reflection on the past was the highlight of the evening. The young graduates of IGCSE and IBDP (Class of 2018) were honoured with the graduation scrolls and certificate of achievements. Without doubt, it was an astounding flash for the graduates’ future.
The Annual Day prize distribution was a mark of pride and honour for all the winners and achievers of the school. The students were awarded prizes for their proficiency in the academic as well as co-curricular activities. All the subject topper, Cambridge attributes and special awards had already being given away in school in a special ceremony on Saturday, 17th March.
The final culmination was ‘Sympnoia,’ (Togetherness in Greek)- the cultural extravaganza. Togetherness revealed itself through various performing art forms like music, dance, drama and mime. The audience and performers realised simultaneously the togetherness in family, team, emotions, music, and togetherness in a community, state, country and beyond.
