IBDP Year 1 and 2 Initiation sessions
‘When the going gets tough, the tough gets going’… the saying has become a reality as the virtual has become a real. If not anything else, Covid-19 has taught us resilience and also to reinvent ourselves. Thus, CPS GS, Thirumazhisai embarked on the new academic journey 2020-2021 through E-school. But first things first! The parents and student fraternity of senior school got together with the faculties and Head of School to orient or familiarize themselves with the old and new norms. The IBDP Induction Session for Year 1 and Familiarisation Session for Year 2 was informative and insightful setting the right tone besides being a kind of reunion having met after almost one and a half months.
The new normal was emphasized by the Head of School followed by the Coordinator and teachers giving a walk through the curriculum and the new E-School setup assuring the parents and students at every step that pedagogy will remain unaffected by external circumstances. Such is the resilience which exuberated in both teachers and students who have been yearning to return to school. A few new students were also inducted in IBDP Year 1 along with majorly our own students, but no one felt like new- to all, it was the entire family coming back together with the promise of going from ‘GOOD TO GREAT’, the CPS Schools Group’s quest.
With great fervour and expectations, CPS GS, Thirumazhisai welcomed the IBDP classes of 2021 and 2022 in a unique way in these extraordinary times!
