Written by cpsglobalblog

“The newspaper is a greater treasure to the people than uncounted millions of gold”.

The students of CAIE 5 and 7 were taken to the Indian Express for an educational tour. The students were keen to see something they have always read about. They are exposed to the newspaper on an everyday basis and to get more information on them was a treat to their learning.

Indian Express Limited is an Indian news media publishing company. It publish all over India and the most predominant newspaper in the country.

Our children were taken on a tour inside the publishing house, where they were exposed to the mechanisms of printing a newspaper. They got to understand how the company sources the paper, the way articles are chosen, the space allotment in a paper and how the paper goes through various levels before reaching the end consumer.

The kids were engrossed and completely excited to view the printing machines and how everything was automated in this new-gen. They were able to very well grasp and understand the importance of automation and how it has eased the process of printing a newspaper.

“Reading the morning newspaper is the realist’s morning prayer!”

On a whole it was a vital learning experience for our children who are getting prepared to face and challenge the next gen inventions.
