“Nothing is more beautiful than a smile that has struggled through years and tears”
We the family of CPSGS visited the “Little sisters for the poor”. We know that to care for someone who once cared for us is the highest honour. When we entered the home, we were taken by surprise as there were more people than what we had imagined. They were ecstatic to talk individually to everyone.
“Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.”The students of Grade 6 engaged in a cultural show to help and bring happiness to them. They had fun by dancing, singing and performing a skit. The students were enjoying their morning by making them feel loved.
This act of kindness was concluded by distributing handmade cards made by the students to the residents of Little sisters. The visit to the old-age home was a fulfilling experience as the children came back not only with memories but also with some valuable lessons about life.
