ELP @ CPS GLOBAL THIRUMAZHISAI SAYS “SRI GURUBHYO NAMAH!”

Written by cpsglobalblog
September 5th is the Birth anniversary of one of the modern India’s most notable philosophers, the late Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was Independent India’s second President. We have been observing his birthday as our country’s Teacher’s day. We take the pride in the thoughts and teachings of this Guru of Guru’s, someone who possessed the qualities of a Rishi and Raja and thus was considered a Rajarishi.
Almost every country in the world dedicates a day to celebrate and honour teachers. The World Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th October. Guru Purnima is an Indian festival dedicated to honour academic and spiritual teachers.
It historically marks the birth of Ved Vyasa, the author of the Mahabharatha, Vedhas and Puranas.
The virtual classes at CPS Global Thirumazhisai are flourishing with activities, fueled by enthusiasm, of  our ELP students. On 3rd September our ELP tiny tots acknowledged the selfless contribution of teachers towards their learning process. The children of ELP1,2 and 3 desirably dressed up  as their favorite teachers . It was a heart warming moment for the teachers to see the little ones mimic them so adorably.
Our Head of school made a virtual visit to all the ELP e -classrooms and enjoyed the role reversal, where the children taught their teachers!
Paulo Coelho said “A child can teach an adult three things: to be happy for no reason; to always be busy with something; and to know how to demand with all his might that which he desires.” Thus it was a day of ‘learning’ for the ELP teachers @ CPS Global, Thirumazhisai.
