‘Music is to the soul what words are to the mind’.
Music gives us a way to express ourselves and shows how we feel inside, that we don’t usually let other people see. It is true that where words leave off, music begins.
The ‘DO RE MI – Solo Singing Competition 2020 – A virtual challenge – Grand Finale’ was held on the 21st of August 2020 and the event consisted of some wonderful melodies and harmonies of pure joy, scintillating performances of our primary segment children.
Ms. Marian Priya Derrick and Mr.Splendid Neil Johnathan were the judges for the day.
The finalists rendered such nuanced performances filling our ears and hearts with pure joy and delight, that judges had a tough time giving out scores. It was truly an amazing day for all of us.
