Getting outdoors is so vital. In outdoor activities children are endowed with ideal opportunity to experiment, discover, learn about and engage in adventure activities than indoor activities.

From hide and seek to hopscotch, children have always naturally explored position and movement in their school grounds. Here is one such fun way of getting to grip with the important terms of position and movement such as quarter turn, half turn, clockwise and anticlockwise.

Children of CAIE2 were involved in a fun filled activity. Different places were dotted on the grid reference and the explorers were given an instruction sheet with directions which lead them to their destination. As they moved through the grid, they mentioned the position of each square they landed on.
