Art reflects the soul. It soothes the mind both of the creator and the viewer. Art has evolved in styles and techniques but has been very significant to Man from the prehistoric era. Each Society, from as far as we know in mankind, has expressed its history, feelings, fears, way of life, traditions, through pictures, paintings, drawings, etc. From rock painting by cave men to many civilizations’ art dates back as the first form of representation of human emotions and every form of art be it clay pottery, stone or bronze carving every piece of artwork has been a milestone for Society. For centuries they represented reality but progressively allowed the artists to express their fantasies and then came abstraction.

Happiness comes from creative efforts. The joy of dreaming, creating and expressing your thoughts by drawing and painting is unparallel. The famous painter Pablo Picasso said, “Every child is an artist”.
Keeping all this in mind and to explore the creative potentials in the young minds of our children we at CPS Global School decided to give an opportunity in this virtual platform through Avant Garde Contest.
The participants exhibited the qualities of observation, curiosity, scientific thinking and creativity among young minds who are eager to explore science and solve problems. Things like the layout of the art, background colour, painting style, colour inside sketches, theme and the content were both appealing and enticing. The challenge of the designing was a big thing as; this is the foremost important thing that kindles an interest for the viewer
