It’s time to head to the grocery store. Make sure you stay under budget and maintain a healthy diet. Look for the prices and nutritional information on each item. This game is good for improving money skills, product pricing and of course touching on all number concepts.

The Common Core emphasizes that kindergarten math lessons should focus on two areas: representing, relating, and operating on whole numbers, and describing shapes and space. These areas will lay a strong foundation for years to come especially in the early grades.

Shop keeper! Shopkeeper! I want a lollipop, how much is it? The classic “playing shop” is an everyday application topic which every child loves to play turned out to be very instrumental in strengthening the ongoing math topics in class.
