A hunting we will go – ELP 2B @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

Finally, summer is over. We are definitely enjoying the cooler days, the smell of earth after the rains and our steaming hot cuppas .Kids love being out in the nature and also anything related to rummaging leaves is fun.

The skies were overcast and the breeze was cool, so we thought it was the perfect time for some outdoor activity and learning.

It was all about the numbers and three letter words they learnt. We hung some of the leaves on plants using clothespins and scattered the rest in the school yard. The activity goes like this, for each leaf that was chosen the child had to read the word and number written on it

An added bonus was opening the grip strengthening clothes pins. That was 2  strikes in a row!

In the coming years and with our plans to increase the foliage around us children will have aplenty to soil and learn!
